Pancit Canton: Stir-Fried Noodles for Every Occasion

Every plate of pancit carries a wish for long life. This version is weeknight-friendly and party-approved.

Ingredients

  • 400 g pancit canton noodles
  • 250 g chicken or pork, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 carrot, matchsticks
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Oil, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic and onion, add meat and cook through.
  2. Pour in broth, soy, and oyster sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add noodles; toss until they soak up the sauce.
  4. Stir in vegetables and cook until just tender. Season to taste.

Best enjoyed with hot rice and shared with family.
