Pancit Canton: Stir-Fried Noodles for Every Occasion
Every plate of pancit carries a wish for long life. This version is weeknight-friendly and party-approved.
Ingredients
- 400 g pancit canton noodles
- 250 g chicken or pork, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 carrot, matchsticks
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Oil, salt, and pepper
Instructions
- Sauté garlic and onion, add meat and cook through.
- Pour in broth, soy, and oyster sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Add noodles; toss until they soak up the sauce.
- Stir in vegetables and cook until just tender. Season to taste.
